Levi Experience: Local Life in a Day
Experience the magic of Levi in just one day! “Levi Experience” offers a unique opportunity to explore this stunning village with a local guide. Your adventure begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel or cabin. During the trip, you’ll get to meet Alaskan huskies, reindeer, and perhaps even see some horses at a nearby farm.

Winter Day with Ice fishing, Lunch and Reindeer Farm Visit
We go ice fishing to lake Suksijärvi with a sled pulled by a snowmobile, enjoy Lappish lunch in wilderness cabin at Soma Hideout and visit the reindeer farm nearby. There you can feed the reindeer and hear many interesting stories about reindeer herding from the locals.

Snowshoeing and Reindeer Farm Visit
A snowshoe adventure from Soma Hideout takes you to wild nature. If we are lucky, we may see there some wild animals. If not, we can look the tracks on the snow and try to identify which animal made them. You can hear also the voice of total silence. Have you ever heard it? We enjoy a snack by the campfire during the adventure.
After snowshoeing, we go to a local reindeer farm to learn about reindeer and reindeer herding.

Reindeer Herding and Snowmobile Sleigh Ride
Set off on the ultimate adventure into untouched wilderness in the traditional reindeer herding village of Lompolo! Upon arrival, we’ll suit up in thermal jackets and take a sleigh ride behind a snowmobile to a local reindeer farm. At the farm, you’ll see reindeer in their winter feeding enclosures and hear stories about the life of reindeer from a local guide who was born here. You’ll also have the chance to feed the reindeer and take plenty of photos.
Once we return to the wilderness cabin after the sleigh ride, it’s time to gather around the fire, recap the day’s experiences, grill sausages, and enjoy hot drinks.

Winter Northern Lights Adventure
Upon arrival, you’ll find yourself in a traditional reindeer herding village, where the Soma Hide Out Wilderness Cabin and a glass-roofed aurora hut await. Situated right by a serene wilderness lake, this spot offers one of the most breathtaking views imaginable. You’ll have the chance to walk on the frozen lake—whether in your winter boots or with snowshoes for an extra thrill—and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful silence, gazing up at the endless stars above.

Ice Fishing Adventure in the Wild with Campfire Treats and Cosy Hut
We’ll conveniently pick you up from your doorstep and drive on a 35-minute journey from Levi to the heart of the wilderness. The drive itself is an experience, offering fascinating insights into Lapland’s life and culture. Upon arrival, we’ll reach a breathtakingly beautiful wilderness lake, where a warm and cozy cabin awaits us.
From the cabin, we’ll head out to ice fish on the nearby lake. The lake offers a chance to catch perch and pike. If we’re lucky and catch some fish, we’ll grill it together with sausages over the fireplace after the fishing adventure. To top it all off, we’ll enjoy hot drinks, sweet pastries, and marshmallows by the fire.
